Correlation Between Social Media and Television Usage Habits Based on Age and Gender with Microsoft Excel
In this project, as the first step, a survey was created and participants were asked about their gender, age, weekly social media usage duration, and weekly television watching duration. The obtained results were transferred to an Excel file. Using these data, statistical tests and techniques were applied to analyze the data. As a result of the performed procedures, point estimates for the sample mean (or proportion) and variance for variables in each category, t-intervals for variables in each category at three confidence levels, statistical tests, correlation scores, regression models, and ANOVA test results were obtained. Finally, the obtained results were evaluated and interpreted.
